Weddings are an important matter. And the vendors you surround yourself with on that very important day can matter a lot. They can help you create a day that fits your style, that meets your budget and graciously caters to your guests.Ever since we launched Sweet Pea, we’ve met hundreds of companies and people who work in the wedding world. The vast majority of them care deeply about their clients and want to help them in any way they can. We love working with those vendors: the people who not only guide couples in the many questions that arise when planning a wedding, but those that offer professionalism, reliability as well as creativity. So when Anne Birkinbine of Turner Hall Weddings and Ramsey Renno of Milwaukee Airwaves announced WEDMKE — a wedding show focused on showcasing the best and unique wedding pros in the Milwaukee area — we knew we had to be a part of it.We’re not huge fans of weddings shows. The noise and chaos aren’t ideal to showcase our work. But the focus on local and unique for WEDMKE really intrigued us, and we’re so glad we participated! We met dozens of couples who seemed to be interested in showcasing the best of what Milwaukee has to offer, and that’s exactly what we love, too.We hope you enjoy the first of two videos we produced talking to WEDMKE vendors. Round II comes tomorrow, when we’ll also talk a little bit more about wedding shows.Cheers,CindyTurner Hall Ballroom Weddings | Milwaukee Airwaves | Studio 29 Photography | Milwaukee Flower Company | Caricatures & Comedy by Bill | Favor Bay | Pritzlaff Events | Tactile Craftworks | Bartolotta Catering | Downtown Kitchen | Kyle Feerick | Bluewater Kings Band | The Vitrolum Republic | We, Unity Candle
